In this policy/document, 'you' refers to the person accessing the Workplace Express job board. 'Us' and 'we' refers to the proprietors of Workplace Express.
 
1. The terms for how you may use the Workplace Express job board and associated jobs content are set on this page. If you do not agree to these terms please do not register, join, subscribe to, visit, or otherwise use this service.

2. By visiting the Workplace Express job board, signing up as an advertiser, requesting or paying for a listing, or otherwise interacting with the Workplace Express job board, you agree to these terms.

3. From time to time we may update these terms. If you do not accept the new terms you should discontinue use of the Workplace Express job board and services.

4. These job board terms are separate to the terms governing Workplace Express news subscriptions.

5. To register as an advertiser on the Workplace Express job board you must be authorised to act as an advertiser for the position(s) you advertise.

6. It is your responsibility to provide accurate, complete and up to date details and you must agree to keep these current.

7. If we believe the details you provide are false, incomplete, or misleading we reserve the right to refuse service. If service is refused, you will not be entitled to a refund or other compensation for any services you have purchased.

8. It is your sole responsibility to create and keep secure a strong password for accessing the Workplace Express job board. If you suspect the security of your account has been compromised you must contact us on (02) 9267 3800, or outside business hours (9am-5pm Sydney Australia time) email info@workplaceexpress.com.au. You should also immediately reset your password.

9. If we suspect there has been unauthorised or other misuse of your account we may suspend the account without notice. However, you should not rely on us to discover misuse of your account before acting yourself.

10. Any losses or damage caused by misuse of your account shall be borne by you, including losses and damage incurred by us as a result of your account being misused.

11. Workplace Express owns all intellectual property rights associated with the Workplace Express job board. Where you provide intellectual property for use on the Workplace Express job board, you give us royalty-free, irrevocable and perpetual permission to use your intellectual property so we can provide you with our services. By providing us with intellectual property you confirm you have attained full permission and rights for its use, and you indemnify us against any loss or damage caused by the misuse of intellectual property provided by you.

12. Use of the Workplace Express job board can only be for the purpose of promoting genuine work opportunities in the fields of industrial relations, human resources, employment law, and some other closely related areas, unless otherwise agreed to by Workplace Express (any such agreement must come in the form of a written statement by one or more directors of Specialist News Pty Ltd, the owners and operators of Workplace Express).

13. Only one job may be advertised on each job advertisement.

14. Subscribing, advertising, joining, signing up, paying, visiting, browsing or otherwise interacting with Workplace Express and its website(s) does not give you any right, title or interest in or to any intellectual property or other proprietary rights relating to Workplace Express or any of its content.
 
You are only permitted to access content on Workplace Express website(s) (including text, video, audio and images) for your own personal, non-commercial use. Access to Workplace Express content is granted on a read-only basis, and you are not permitted to display our content on your own website or to charge others to access any of our content. You are expressly prohibited from using, storing, reproducing, publishing, altering, communicating or transmitting any Workplace Express content, in whole or part by any means, without our prior written approval.

15. These terms cover any logo, masthead or trademark displayed by Workplace Express along with any text, video, audio or images. You are also not permitted to remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notice or trademark on any of the content provided by Workplace Express.

16. Workplace Express reserves the right to edit, restrict, suspend or terminate accounts, advertisements, feeds, or other agreements at any time, for any reason, without liability.

17. Workplace Express will endeavour to provide reliable and satisfactory service, however errors, faults and interruptions may occur from time to time. We offer no guarantees with regards to errors, faults, interruptions or attacks.

18. From time to time Workplace Express websites may be inaccessible while undergoing maintenance and updates.

19. Job advertisers and job applicants engage in interactions at your own risk. We can offer no assurance or guarantees that advertisers or applicants are acting in good faith, nor that content or files exchanged, downloaded, or otherwise transmitted are safe and free of viruses or other malicious content.

20. You may not use the Workplace Express job board to distribute or display content that is illegal, malicious, threatening, discriminatory, obscene, distasteful or otherwise unacceptable.

21. You may not use any form of automated content or data gathering, extraction, learning or publication tools on Workplace Express websites without written permission from a Specialist News Pty Ltd director.
 
22. You may not breach, test, or attempt to breach or test the security of Workplace Express websites.

23. You may not aggregate, copy or duplicate any content on Workplace Express websites.

24. You may not post any content or material that enables scamming, misleading, or illegal activities.

25. Workplace Express gives no assurance of the current availability of any particular job advertised on the Workplace Express job board, nor that every ad represents a legitimate vacancy.

26. All advertiser content is the sole responsibility of the advertiser.
 
27. We do not vouch for the accuracy or truthfulness of advertiser content.

28. It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy, truthfulness, and appropriateness of content you post.

29. We may suspend your account without notice or refund if we suspect you are engaging in illegal, malicious, unethical, or any other behaviours not in the interests of Workplace Express or the users of Workplace Express or that are in breach of these terms.

30. Workplace Express does not endorse any advertised jobs or employers.

31. Workplace Express does not endorse any third-party services, service providers or content linked to from any of our websites.

32. Workplace Express takes no responsibility for your safety when clicking on external / third-party links in job advertisements. If you click on these links it is at your own risk.

33. You agree to indemnify Workplace Express and its directors, employees, and contractors from any loss, damage or demands suffered by us as a result of providing you with job advertising services.

34. Your advertising relationship is with Specialist News Pty Ltd, trading as Workplace Express.

35. Workplace Express provides no assurances or guarantees that content or services provided on our websites are appropriate or available for use in locations outside of Australia.

36. You may not transfer any of your rights or obligations under these terms to any other person or entity.

37. Payment for single-ads must be made upfront at the time you confirm your purchase.

38. If purchasing bulk ad packs by invoice, payment must be made by the date set on our invoice sent to you. Advertisers will be liable for any costs of collecting overdue payments, which will be added to the total of your invoice.

39. Payment for services provided must be made regardless of whether you use the services. No refunds or credit are available for unused services.

40. You must not on-sell or supply any of our products or services to third parties without written consent from a Workplace Express/Specialist News director.

42. We reserve the right to re-categorise any job advertisements posted.

43. Suspended advertisers and advertisements will not be entitled to any refund or compensation.

44. You hereby grant to us a perpetual, non-exclusive, irrevocable licence to use any advertiser data for any purpose we choose, with consideration to our privacy policy.

45. Workplace Express takes no responsibility for the compatibility of our service with user hardware or software. It is the responsibility of visitors and advertisers to have the appropriate systems in place to use our services.

46. You agree we may contact you via email, SMS and phone call from time to time to provide you with customer service and occasional sales and marketing promotions.
